His name means Hell. It is not difficult to imagine which it is the position of this character to the inside of the history...is the bad one for excellence! His final objective is to obtain the Shikon's sphere in order to become a full demon: in fact, Naraku is been born from the fusion of a human, Onigumo, and of several phantoms that are enter in his body during the disease of the human, regenerating it and transforming him in Naraku, that is therefore a hanyou = half demon - half human, like Inu Yasha. The two antagonists have an other element in common: both during the new moon forgiveness their powers, but Naraku does not know that this happens also to its adversary. Being a hanyou it has a human heart: the Onigumo one, that still love Kikyo of which the human was in love 50 years before while she cured him. The symbol that let us know that Naraku is still influenced from the human heart is a spider (Onigumo in Japanese means exactly spider) that it has impressed on the back and that, even if he has tried in many ways, he does not succeed to cancel; this human part blocks him from killing Kikyo. He tricks Kikyo and Inu Yasha, taking their aspects in order to carry them to mutual hatred, but he did not succeed in taking the sphere; and he is also naraku that inflicted to the grandfather of Miroku the curse of the "wind's tunnel".
Kagura
Kanna
Her name means ceremonial dance. She's one of the many beings created from Naraku, but differently from the others she hates him...unfortunately she can't kill him because her life belongs to the bad demon (would not be badly to kill him ^_^!!). She flies with a gigantic plume, and has the power to control the wind.
Her name means without God. She's one of the creatures created from Naraku; it offers to the master a twofold service: on one side she imprisons the spirits of the persons, from the other allows her boss to observe the enemy's movements; both these actions are possible through a mirror that Kanna holds in hand.
Goshinki
Goshinki (means "orc reader of the mind") is the third creature of Naraku, that is is the third monster generated from same Naraku; he is a orc (onii) that has, like all creatures of Naraku, a burn of a spider shape on the back. It has the ability to read the mind of the persons and he is so strong that succeeds in breaking Tessaiga, making Inuyasha a full demon: Sesshomaru after his dead will use one his teeth in order to create a powerful sword, Tokijin (yeah...he's gelouse because he can't use Tessaiga :P)
Juromaru & Kageromaru
Juromaru (that is "beast boy") and Kageromaru (that is "shadow boy") are the quarter and fifth monsters of Naraku. Juromaru in appearance is a boy from violet hats and the blue eyes, but is a very aggressive and stupid demon, in fact he only obeys to his brother Kageromaru. This last guy is a little demon, intelligent and fast that has the same face as Juromaru, but he's small and disgustive (XX( bleah). They are killed (strangely) by Koga and Inuyasha, that once a lot fight together!
Musou
The name Musou means "dream to open eyes". He is the sixth creature of Naraku, but it is deeply various from the others, because it does not have to obey to the hated creator, because he possesses the greater part of Onigumo's spirit and his memories. When he was born did not have the face, therefore he killed a monk and took his face (bleahhh...), calling himself Musou...the killed monk name. But Naraku resumes him inside himself because if Musou dies he'll also die and Naraku cannot run this risk, knowing that Inuyasha is much more strongly than Musou.
Hakudoshi
Hakudoshi (means "white child") is the last essence of Naraku, born from the Hakurei mount (in which Naraku obtains his new body). Initially he is a baby called Akago, and has the power to create a barrier to reject the Kaze Kizu and to control the people's spirits. Subsequently he will come cut in two: the baby part that contains Naraku's heart (except for Kikyo's love that comes totally eliminated), comes hidden from Kanna, while the part without heart becomes Hakudoshi, a child more or less of the age of Kohaku; Naraku cannot die, if is heart won't be eliminated.
Entei
Entei is a demon horse (Entei...the pokémon!*_*) that has the ability to fly and produce fire. Saved from Hakudoshi becomes his similar faithful and helps him in his movements. But his apparition is realy short: he's mannered from Inuyasha (what a pity...it was such a beautiful demon...).
